No COVID-19 related death in SKN, Dominica: PM Harris

St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Timothy Harris, is proud to share that SKN, Dominica is the only Caribbean country without COVID-19 related death.
Prime Minister Timothy Harris wrote, “I am proud that St Kitts and Nevis along with Dominica are the only two independent Caribbean countries without a single COVID-19 related death. Let’s work together to keep it that way.”
St Kitts and Nevis had only registered 28 cases with zero deaths. This reflects the government’s efficient management of the virus since the pandemic begins, which included shutting down boundaries from March to October.
According to EndCoronavirus.org, SKN is one of 27 countries that have crushed the COVID-19 pandemic particularly, pronounced by a self-described comprehensive volunteer alliance of over 4,000 scientists and other community stakeholders.
SKN government managed the COVID-19 situation systematically. They have followed a significant plan of action to restrict the increasing number of coronavirus.
SKN always chooses people over politics, which helped to safeguard the people of the nation.
COVID-19 related deaths in other Caribbean countries are as follows, and the Dominican Republic experiences 2773 deaths, jamaica-357, Haiti-245, Cuba-229, Trinidad and Tobago-135, Grenada-1, St Vincent Grenadines, St Lucia-18, Barbados-18, Antigua-7, Aruba-62, Guyana-179, Martinique-45, Guadeloupe-155, and Montserrat-1.
On the other hand, Dominica and Barbados received COVID-19 vaccines from India. It will cover around 25 percent of the population in Barbados.
Dominica also managed the covid situation with a system that follows strict rules and regulations. People of the nation were very conscious about their well being helped to maintain the situation carefully.
St Kitts and Nevis also did the same, which helped them to defeat covid-19 earlier than other Caribbean countries if we talk about St Lucia and Antigua, and Barbuda that experienced the largest number of coronavirus cases than other islands.
The government of SKN must feel proud to handle the pandemic situation so well.
