On the other hand, The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing informs the public that M & M&M Engineering Consultants Ltd, connected with the Coastal Highway Upgrading Project, will be transporting extraordinarily long and heavy bridge beams from March 25 to 27, 2021.
The beams will be transported from Ladyville via the Burrell Boom Road to the George Price Highway, turning onto the Coastal Highway at La Democracia Village, with the Manatee Bridge’s final destination.
Traffic and police personnel will be escorting the beams to ensure public safety on the highway. The public is advised to exercise extreme caution when approaching the convoy.

The Belize Training Institute, developed from an amalgamation of existing youth training institutes, comprises the National Youth Cadet Service Corps, Gateway Youth Center, the Skills Training Center, and the National 4H Youth Development Center.
To effectively bring structure to this institute, the Center for Employment Training (CET) module will be implemented. This will allow participating youth to transition to the Institute for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ITVET) after their Belize Training Institute curriculum.
Coordinators of the amalgamated institutes participated in a training on the CET module hosted by Dr Sheldon Samuels, National Coordinator of Adult Continuing Education Services (ACES).
The Belize Training Institute will be a nationally offered service accessible in all regions of the country.
