MEP Stéphane Bijoux raises concern over scorching wildfires in European countries

Europe: The European countries have been battling with “monster” wildfires due to immensely increasing temperature in the region. The burning forests have forced thousands of hundreds of people to evacuate their homes.

Because of scorching heatwaves and increasing forest fires, the firefighters are back with their water-bombing aircrafts. These fighters are vigilant as these forest fires can change the direction at any moment.

While raising the concern and lauding the “heroes” the Member of European Parliament – Stéphane Bijoux retweeted a post by the Stéphane Séjourné, a French lawyer, politician and a Member of the European Parliament, took social media and mentioned, “Unwavering support for our everyday heroes.”

He further stated that the fire fighters are currently fighting with their German, Greek and Polish counterparts against the flames. They will soon be reinforced by forces from Romania and Austria.

“Solidarity of actions, Honour of Europe,” minister outlined.

MEP Stéphane Bijoux has raised voice against the climate change at almost every platform. He has also praised the small countries for their big efforts to fight against the climate change, which is one of the biggest problems across the globe.

Recently, MEP praised the small island of Dominica for taking massive steps to fight against the climate change. On June 23, 2022, the Member of European Union and the government of Dominica had an interactive session in Brussels, Belgium. The Financial Secretary of Dominica, Denise Edwards met with the European Member of Parliament (MEP) Stéphane Bijoux and also exchanged greetings in Creole with the new MEP from Martinique, Max Orville.

MEP Bijoux appraised the government of Dominica for their efforts to become world’s first climate-resilient nation. The member applauded the country for providing resilient infrastructure to the residents and citizens of the country.

While raising concern about climate change, Bijoux stated, “Climate Change is a serious threat and scaring everyone. It is an emergency for everyone. It is also our responsibility to accompany developing countries because the solidarity cannot stop at the geographical limits of our continent.”
