KNOW HERE: Results of three matches of Antigua and Barbuda Premier League

Antigua and Barbuda conducted three matches on the second day of Week 8 of the Antigua Premier League. It is to be noted the second day was held on Sunday, 21st January 2024, at ABFA Technical Centre.

The first game was played between SAP Football Club and All Saints United Football Club. It was a sweeping victory for the All-Saints United Football Club as they defeated the former by a score of 5-0.

The Goal scorers from All-Saints United Football Club were:

• Maicon Stewart scored three goals for his team in the 10th, 43rd, and 76th minutes of the game.
• Tyreke Ogarro contributed a goal in the 87th minute of the match.
• Nazir McBurnette scored a goal in the second-half stoppage time of the game.

Despite their efforts, no player from SAP Football Club was able to score a goal for their team.

The next game was conducted between Empire Football Club and John Hughes Football Club. The game was played at the same venue at 6:00 pm. The players of both teams performed very well and displayed their best game. However, Deno Bryan led his team to a victory by scoring two goals for his team.

Moreover, the game was won by John Hughes Football Club by a score of 3-1.

The final game of the day was conducted between Swetes Football Club and Grenades Football Club. One of the most exciting matches of the day as the Grenades Football Club defeated Swetes FC by a score of 5-1.

• Tev Lawrence contributed a goal for his team in the 77th minute of the game.

Notably, the first three games of the Week 8 of the Antigua and Barbuda Premier Football League were played on Saturday. The first and the second games were won by Willikies Football Club and Old Road Football Club, respectively. The third game was a draw as neither team was able to score a goal, and the match ended at 0-0.

Along with that, one more game of the Antigua and Barbuda Premier Football League is still left to be played. The game will be conducted between Pigotts Bullets Football Club and Garden Stars Football Club. The game will be played today, i.e. Monday, 22nd January, 2024.
