interCaribbean Airways to offer non-stop services between Grenada and Guyana
The flight will operate every Thursdays and Sundays, providing a direct connection between Maurice Bishop International Airport in Grenada and Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Guyana.

interCaribbean Airways is all set to offer non-stop services between Grenada and Georgetown, Guyana effective from 1st December, 2024. The services will be provided twice-weekly between the nations, marking a huge milestone towards enhancing connectivity between the Eastern Caribbean and South America.
As per the details, the flight will operate every Thursdays and Sundays, providing a direct connection between Maurice Bishop International Airport in Grenada and Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Guyana.
While shedding light on the services, the authorities called it a vital link for the business travellers, tourists and visitors to travel, making their visit efficient and convenient.
According to the schedule shared by interCaribbean Airways, the flight ERJ 145 jet will depart Grenada at 12:20 pm to reach their final destination, Georgetown at 1:50 pm. Meanwhile, the return flight will take off from Georgetown at 2:35 pm for Grenada.
The CEO of interCaribbean Airways, Trevor Sadler called the addition of these services between Grenada and Guyana, “a game-changer” for regional connectivity. While shedding light on these flight route, he added that it would play a huge role in bridging cultures, fostering trade, and opening new possibilities for tourism and business.
The CEO reiterated his commitment to enhance travel options for the visitors, making their access to these destinations, safer and easier. He further mentioned about the special fares available for the travellers from 1st to 18th December, 2024 and 8th January to 31st March, 2025.
“interCaribbean Airways is expanding Caribbean connections. At interCaribbean, every flight connects you to the people, places, and cultures of Caribbean,” noted the airline.
The CEO of the Grenada Tourism Authority, Petra Roach expressed excitement and stated that the launch of these services would play a huge role in attracting large number of tourists, celebrating people, cultures and bringing diverse economies closer together.
He further added that this expansion of services would not only ease off the burden of travellers but will also open new opportunities for growth, exchange and collaboration between both the nations.
