New Delhi, India: The American Jewish Committee delegation and the minister of external affairs met on Tuesday to discuss the “sea change in India-US and India-Israel interactions since 2014.”
“It was a pleasure to meet the American Jewish Committee team while they were in India. The relationship between India and Israel and the United States has changed dramatically since 2014.
I appreciate their thoughts and encouragement, as well as the work they have done with Indian community groups in the US,” on Tuesday, Jaishankar tweeted.
The leading Jewish advocacy group on a global scale is the American Jewish Committee (AJC). AJC strives to influence policy and opinion on some of the most significant issues affecting the Jewish people everywhere from local halls to Capitol Hill, the UN, and major capitals throughout the world.
Jaishankar recently spoke with a delegation made up of members of the Indian diaspora and the American Jewish Committee on enhancing India’s ties with the US and Israel.
“I was pleased to meet a group from the Indian Diaspora and the American Jewish Committee this morning in South Block. India’s relations with the US and Israel were discussed as a way to be strengthened. I valued their advice on how to promote community-based activities,” tweeted Jaishankar.
Full diplomatic ties between India and Israel were established thirty years ago. India and Israel have effectively advanced their connection since that time.
