Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The World’s largest cruise, Icon of the Seas made another call to the St Kitts and Nevis and brought thousands of passengers to the island nation. The ship docked at the Port Zante on Tuesday and elevated the tourism sector.

The authorities of the island nation welcomed Icon of the Seas with great enthusiasm and stated that the arrival of world’s largest cruise created a beautiful scene at the port of St Kitts and Nevis.

The tourism authority of the island nation stated that the visit of the Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas is always a very special moment. They noted that the cruise ship brings several passengers to the country and indulges them in the natural beauty, cultural richness, and warmth of the Kittitian people.

Along with that, they also asserted that the arrival of the cruise always open doors to several opportunities for the local citizens of St Kitts and Nevis. As, it gives them an opportunity to showcase their talent, locally produced goods and services and sell them.

Notably, the Icon of the seas has room for over 7600 passengers which offers them with a crew, cutting-edge amenities. It features seven pools, nine whirlpools, waterslides and many other exciting activities for the entertainment purpose of all the visitors.

After getting served with warmth hospitality of the Royal Caribbean Cruise “Icon of the Seas”, the passengers enjoyed the offerings of St Kitts and Nevis and a plethora of experience offered by the tourism ministry. All the visitors were given an opportunity to enjoy the vibrant culture and traditions of the country and explore the hotspot destinations of the island nation.

The authorities of the country also pointed that the visit of the Icon of the Seas generated income for stakeholders in the tourism sector. They further noted that the passengers ventured on guided tours, patronised the various stores at Port Zante and even had their hair braided.
