Trinidad and Tobago: Kamla Persad Bissessar, member of parliament and the leader of UNC (United National Congress) Party, Trinidad and Tobago extended her heartiest greetings to all the citizens of the island on the occasion of Christmas.

She wished peace, love, happiness, and generosity to all the residents of the nation by adding the essence of the wonderful spirit of Christmas in her greetings.

“I fervently wish that everyone becomes imbued with the wonderful spirit of Christmas,” greeted the leader Kamla Persad Bissessar.

Moreover, she mentioned that the festival upholds great significance all over the world and spreads affection all around, regardless of religious affiliations.

Focusing on the challenging circumstances of the year 2023 which the country or the entire world went through, she indicated this as a strong motivation to aspire for peace for the better times ahead. Along with it, she requested that society to reach the dispossessed to bring joy in their lives, especially to the children, this Christmas season.

Further, she recalled the seasonal lyrics by King Cole, “He is the little boy that Santa Claus forgot and goodness knows, he didn’t want a lot.”

Such words presented so evidently indicate the care for the needy children in the eyes of leader Kamla Persad Bissessar. She added that there are the children around who need God’s grace, who are without the traditional goodies of Christmas.

Such things even make them feel separated from all the festival joy and magic. In her greetings through the words she asked the people of the region to stand heart-to-heart and hand-to-hand with poverty stricken families.

Further, she extended thanks and congratulated the fellow citizens who have brought pleasure and joy to the needy ones. And, wished to present blessings to the people to have all the fun and create memories on the auspicious day of Christmas.

“Merry Christmas, everyone,” she mentioned.
