Georgetown, Guyana: Guyana’s Firefighters and concerned citizens saved a Pregnant Horse in distress who was stuck for hours in the gutter on Thursday.

During the incident, two young men from Stone Ave went in the sewage and tried their best to get a pregnant horse out of the spot.

In spite of their help, the horse couldn’t manage to come out; therefore, a lady named as Donna Lam came to the rescue. Though she had her own things going on, she went to a nearby fire station as soon as she witnessed the situation.

Meanwhile, she got them to reach out to get a forklift when all everybody’s efforts failed. Another native, namely Varsha Ramlakhan, reached out to get help even tho she was at her work.

She kept checking on a horse to see if she was doing okay. They were accompanied by other natives as well. One of them gave the horse water and held her head to give her comfort.

The Campbellville Fire Service finally managed to get the horse out of that tragic situation, along with the help of some villagers. She (horse) snorted a little, then trotted on her cheerful way, and it was so beautiful to witness her trotting along to wherever she came from.

They epitomized dedication and care, being concerned and mindful not to cause too much harm to momma (horse) and her unborn baby.

The Rosewood Foundation Guyana thanked all the men and women who were a part of this rescue mission and selflessly stepped up to help this adorable creature stuck in a drain.

They extended their gratitude and admiration to all as they not only saved a life but also touched the hearts of many. They exemplify the kindness and goodness that exist in our community.

It is only because of Graziella Jailall’s reporting that so many amazing humans come together to help a horse. Teamwork makes the dream work.

Many people shared their opinions on this incident, highlighting their own perspectives on the matter. For example, a Facebook user by the name of Shafeek Adel commented the following, “Wonderful. Now it’s time to crack down on all animal owners who tie their animals where there is no shade or water and leave them all day in the sun. Such owners should be charged for animal cruelty.”

The natives spotted a special act of heroism and compassions of the brave men and women.
