The Guyana Police Force Football Club secured the top position in the Guyana Football Federation Women’s League Division 1 with 12 points as of 8 January 2024.

Notably, the Guyana Football Federation Women’s League Division 1 shared the points table on their Facebook account and highlighted the performances of the teams participating in the tournament.

According to the points table, Guyana Police Force Football Club clinches the height as they are leading the points table with 12 points. Till now, the team has played five games, out of which they have won 4 and lost only one game. The total number of goals for = 36 and goals against = 34.

Guyana Defence Force Football Club is becoming a threat to the table topper as they are in the second spot with 12 points. The team has won all the games they have played yet in the tournament. The total no of games being played by the team is 4, and the team has shown their utmost determination in all the games they have played. Total no of Goals for=33 and Goals against=32.

The third position is held by Fruta Conquerors Football Club, which has 9 points. The team has shown a decent performance and has won 3 games out of the five games they have played. The total number of goals for = 10 and goals against = 22.

Moreover, Potaro Strikers Football Club is in fourth place with 4 points. The total number of games played by the team is four, out of which they have won only one game, lost two games, and drawn one game. The total number of goals is for=13 and goals against=5.

Meanwhile, Pakuri Jaguars and Santos Football Club have not been in the position to showcase their effort in the tournament and are sitting in the fifth and sixth spots. Both the teams have played four games each. The Pakuri Jaguars have lost three and had one game in the draw. Whereas, Santos FC has lost all the games. The total points for the second-last position holder is 1, and Santos FC is with 0 points in the league.

It is to be noted, that the residents of the community expressed their excitement for the tournament and the Guyana Football Federation is also welcoming the football fans to come and shower their love and support for their football team.
