Guyana: The Board of Industrial Training (BIT) has informed about the newly certificated in Garment Construction – Anita Ganpat. BIT took social media and noted, “Anita Ganpat’s fascination with the process of creating breathtaking clothing designs drove her to become certified in Garment Construction.”
She was able to do so in April 2022, thanks to Sherry’s Dressmaking and Fabric Design through the Board of Industrial Training (BIT). Her designing adventure, however, began many years ago at a private institution, where she remained after graduation to fine-tune her abilities and capacities.
Nonetheless, Ganpat’s drive to improve her design and technique skills rose tremendously, prompting her to investigate other educational schools.
Her search led her to learn about BIT’s free training programmes, which she immediately enrolled in.
Ganpat told BIT officials that her decision was the best one she could have made because it gave her the opportunity to learn new techniques, abilities, and designs to improve her existing ones.
The ecstatic designer added that the knowledge and skills she gained during the programme gave her the confidence and courage to take the step forward toward becoming a business owner.
Since starting her business, Ganpat has been able to create beautiful, well-tailored wedding gowns, Indian wear, birthday dresses, and other dress wear for many satisfied customers.
She expressed her thanks to BIT for taking her on such an incredible trip to enhance her skills, and she hoped that others would take advantage of BIT’s diverse range of programmes to achieve similar results.
