Grenada: Amonai Francis awarded as winner of 2023 National Carnival Queen Show
Miss St David Amonai Francis is the winner of the 2023 National Carnival Queen Show held at the National Stadium on August 6, 2023 (Sunday).

St George’s, Grenada: Miss St David Amonai Francis is the winner of the 2023 National Carnival Queen Show held at the National Stadium on August 6, 2023 (Sunday).
Amonai Francis, who appeared in position number six, exhibited great confidence and executed her brilliance in every aspect of the show. She not only copped the overall title, she also took the following categories;-Best Costume, Best Swim Wear, Best Interview and Miss Photogenic.
Designer Patterson Nelson worked with Amonai to bring to life the concept in her Costume and evening gown.
After winning the competition, Francis garnered praise and congratulation from the general public and leaders of the country. In this regard, Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Mitchell, also wished the beauty queen through his social media and outlined that she has taken the names to new heights after securing the victory.
He furthermore praised Amonai Francis for her dedication and hard work during this remarkable journey.
Through social media, PM Mitchell noted, “Heartfelt Congratulations, Amonai Francis!”
He added, “To our radiant Queen of the National Carnival Queen Pageant, Miss St. David, your grace, confidence, and elegance have truly left us all in awe. I applaud you for this remarkable victory—it is a testament to your dedication and the unique qualities that make you shine.”
“As you embark on this journey, may it be filled with endless growth, opportunities, and continued success,” PM Mitchell stated while adding, “To our wonderful runners-up and participants, your presence illuminated the stage and made this competition an unforgettable experience. Your commitment and passion have made our nation proud.”
He cheered and said, “Here’s to bright beginnings, boundless opportunities, and an exciting road ahead for each of you.”
