Fourth police official arrested involved in President Moise’s assassination

There are recent updates regarding the case of President Jovenel Moise’s assassination. According to the updation, the fourth officer who was involved in the assassination of President Moise has been arrested.
National Police spokesperson Marie-Michelle Verrier while giving an update on the case, said that a total 27 people had been arrested, and others people are still being searched for those who have a connection with the July 7 attack at the president’s home.
Also, Another nine officers were being held in isolation for questioning, apparently among a total of 44 people held to determine what responsibility they may have had in the killing or to determine if they were negligent in their duties.
A few days back, President of Haiti Jovenel Moise was assassinated by a group of unidentified people with guns. They assassinated the president by shooting him with guns at 1:00 a.m. The killing of President Jovenel Moise comes amid deepening political and economic stability and a spike in gang violence.
Martine Moïse, the wife of the president, has also been shooted in the attack. Her condition has been not immediately possible at that moment.
The suspects were arrested for the assassination of Haiti’s President. According to the statements of senior police officials, those 2 suspected were Haitian Americans. Out of them, one was a former bodyguard at the Canadian Embassy in Port au Prince.
Mathias Pierre, Haiti’s minister of elections, said that there was a Haitian American, James Solages was also involved in the assassination of the president with other six people who have been arrested in the Brazen.
Mathias Pierre said that the other four others are from Colombia. According to the information given by the minister, the oldest suspect is of 55 years old and the youngest suspect, Solages, is 35 years old.
On 24th July, the body of assassinated President of Haiti has been taken to his hometown for a private funeral with heavy security for securing his body and taking care of the completion of the funeral from the protestors and fears of political volatility in the Caribbean nation.
Martine Moïse arrived to cries of “Justice! Justice!” as she headed straight to her husband’s casket, climbing the stairs and stopping in front of it. Her right arm in a sling, she lay her left arm on the casket and then brought it to her heart as she stood there in silence. Her eyes filled with tears as her three children joined her.
