Grenada made history by uniting two love birds in a bond of marriage, making them the first black couple to tie the knot underwater. The couple exchanged marriage vows in a brand-new underwater chapel, located in Grand Mal and installed by the Grenada Tourism Authority.
As per the details, Arthur and Kim Miller became the first Black couple to celebrate their love with an underwater wedding. The couple celebrated their love in one of the most innovative ways, making it a win for their love story.
The newly married couple chose Grenada as their dream destination and combined its passion for both dive and romance in the depths of their Caribbean paradise.
The Grenada Tourism Authority made special arrangements to make this unique marriage and togetherness of two lovebirds a remarkable success. They shared the glimpses of the newly married couple on their social media account and congratulated them on celebrating their love like never before. “Congratulations to the Millers on this incredible milestone.”
They added that they are honoured to host this incredible and record-breaking moment that will forever be etched in the hearts of the pristine waters of the Spice Isle.

Also, recently, the Carriacou and Petite Martinique has officially launched its first-ever underwater sculpture park. This park titled “A World Adrift” features a fleet of 30 boats is a huge step undertaken by the tourism authority of Grenada towards preserving oceans and protecting marine life for future generations.
Such kind of initiatives shed light on the commitment of the Grenada Tourism Authority and Government towards restoring marine biodiversity. It also highlights their fight in addressing issues such as global warming and impact of climate change on the marine ecosystems.
