The Caribbean Premier League 2024 reaches its climax after 4 weeks of exciting cricket. As, the finals is all set to take place between the defending champions, Guyana Amazon Warriors and Saint Lucia Kings for the ultimate glory.
The CPL 2024 was filled with several exciting games, making it memorable for all the fans. All the teams have showcased remarkable talent and excellent performances throughout the tournament, showcasing the best quality of cricket, with Kings and Warriors becoming the finalists.
This is the 7th CPL final for the Guyana Amazon Warriors and are just one step away from winning back-to-back titles. And, the 3rd CPL final for Saint Lucia who are eager to claim their first ever title in the Caribbean Premier League.
On one side, the Warriors have dominated the entire tournament with their strong bowling attack, with consistent performances from players like, Moeen Ali, Imran Tahir and others. Along with that, Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope and Rahmanullah Gurbaz have also been a standout performer for the team with their batting.
Meanwhile, the Kings openers, Johnson Charles and Faf du Plessis have been the strong pillar for the team, standing out as the cornerstone at the start of the innings with their batting.
The bowlers like Alzarri Joseph, Matthew Forde and all-rounders Roston Chase, Khary Pierre have displayed impressive teamwork, executed all their plans strategically, overcame every challenge to secure the first spot in the finals of CPL 2024.
Also, both these finalists have faced each other three times this season, two in the league phase and both were won by Guyana Amazon Warriors. Meanwhile, their last meet was in the Qualifier 1 which was clinched by the Kings through DLS method.
Therefore, it would be very exciting to see whether Guyana Amazon Warriors will secure the victory by a by 3-1 margin or if Kings can even the score to 2-2, by winning the ultimate title.
