Nevis: The economic impact of the Nevis Culturama Festival has been incredible thus far, stated Premier Mark Brantley. The island nation welcomed large number of citizens from St Kitts and Nevis to the final hurrah of Culturama 50 and Nevis Homecoming celebration.
The Nevis Culturama Festival which is the celebration of vibrant culture, traditions, food fair, costumes, colour is emerging to be tremendous success. As, the island nation welcomed large number of local citizens and travellers worldwide in order to immerse themselves in the joyful atmosphere of Nevis Culturama Festival.
Along with that, the festival was a great opportunity for local entertainers and cultural practitioners to showcase their skills, talent and get an opportunity to generate some income. Also, it provided a forum for the small business entrepreneurs to display and sell their locally produced goods and services, earning revenue and enhancing economic conditions of the country.
The large number of visitors arrived for Nevis Culturama Festival also helped in benefitting the accommodation and transportation sector which later contributed positively to the economic department of the country.
