Development Bank of St Kitts and Nevis partners with St Peter’s FC, Dr Drew expresses happiness
Dr Terrance Drew, the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis attended the collaboration ceremony between the Development Bank St Kitts and Nevis and the St. Peters Football Club. The main aim behind this partnership is to promote the younger generation towards sports, boosting their confidence and fostering good health among them.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Dr Terrance Drew, the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis attended the collaboration ceremony between the Development Bank of St Kitts and Nevis and the St Peters Football Club. The main aim behind this partnership is to promote the younger generation towards sports, boosting their confidence and fostering good health among them.
The Development Bank of St Kitts and Nevis has announced them as the new title sponsor of St Peter’s Football Club. The announcement of the collaboration between them was made during a press conference, held on Thursday, 14th March 2024 at the Atiba Erasto Harris Sporting Complex.
Along with the Prime Minister and the Parliamentary Representative for St Peter’s, Dr Terrance Drew, many other members attended the ceremony. The members include, the management and players of the St Peter’s Football Club, the management and staff of the Development Bank, the representatives of the St Kitts and Nevis Football Association which was led by President, Atiba Harris and the fans and supporters of the Football Club.
Notably, St Peter’s Football Club was presented with an initial investment of $30,000 by the Development Bank with the motive to strengthen the partnership. The purpose of the partnership is to turn the aspirations of thousands of younger generations into reality by offering all the facilities which will play a huge role in fostering their growth.
While sharing the benefits of this collaboration, PM Terrance Drew said that it will play a huge role in extending support and necessary resources to the football club. The union between them will also help to enhance and nurture the young talent by providing them with mentorship and by opening doors of several opportunities for them and for those who aspire to become athletes and represent their nation.
The Development Bank has been continuously working for transforming lives and enhancing communities, ensuring the growth and development of the nation.

PM Terrance Drew shed light on the unwavering commitment and dedication of the Development Bank of the island nation in fostering sporting talent and uplifting communities. They have always aimed to set a standard of excellence by promoting youth and developing nations.
He asserted “The development bank’s commitment extends beyond mere sponsorship; it embodies a genuine investment in the aspirations and dreams of our athletes and communities alike.”
