China: Due to Coronavirus, foreigners are not currently allowed to go to China. But now, these restrictions are going to end soon.
China has said that soon it will give entry to the people of countries like India, America, and Pakistan. However, China has put some conditions for this approval for a visa.
According to this, China has said that such people will be given visa easily, who will get the vaccine made at their place.
The Chinese embassy has issued notices for visa in many countries. It clearly states that if someone comes to get a China-made vaccine, then the process of giving them a visa will be started.
Beijing will start assigning visas to immigrants who need to travel to China, but only after taking a China-made Covid-19 vaccine, an announcement by the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi was declared on Tuesday.
The rule, nevertheless, will not make it any easier for Indians to get visa since New Delhi has not authorized the use of China-made vaccines in the country. Also, there are no direct flights between the two nations.
The Chinese embassy in the US has also issued a similar statement. According to the rules, people have to take the vaccine 14 days before applying for a visa. China has given the green signal to 4 vaccines.
The statement recommended the Chinese-vaccine rule – the embassy called it “facilitating steps” – was appropriate for people intending to travel to China for business, work, or to meet relatives.
The Chinese embassy announcement did not specify whether the easing of the method applies to students: The most significant chunk of Indians – more than 22,000 students – are stranded in their home country as China is yet to allot global students back the nation.
China has sent its vaccine to countries like Turkey, Indonesia, and Cambodia. China’s ambassador to the United Nations stated that China would give three lakh doses of anti-COVID-19 vaccine for UN peacekeepers. But this vaccine is not available in a country like India.
