My dad inspired me: he and my uncle are mechanics. Growing up in the workshop, I was fascinated with the fabrications and one day, my uncle asked me to help him sand a trunk. I enjoyed doing it, and I thought I am good at this. That was the day I decided what I wanted to do: then I applied to SJPI.

My experience at SJPI was worth it! The instructors were very patient: they were always encouraging me. I went l, I learned, I made the best of it. It was fun!

Before I went to SJPI, I was a supermarket cashier: now, I am a Contractor Paint Mixer at Courtesy Garage. I love my new job: I still get to learn new things every day.
- What would you say to others who are trying to decide on a career path today?
I would encourage others to go to the SJPI, especially the Automotive Division, The teachers are accommodating and caring.
