Bahamas: RT-PCR no longer required for fully vaccinated travellers
The waiving of restrictions started for the international travellers in many caribbean countries.

Bahamas: Prime Minister Dr Hubert Minnis also announced a rollback on domestic travel restrictions throughout the island nation for fully vaccinated individuals. Earlier, From May 1, travellers who are fully vaccinated can travel to the Bahamas without any need for an RT-PCR test before entering the Bahamas.
Indoor dining and culture activities have started again for those who have been completely vaccinated. The Bahamas has also reduced curfew hours on Abaco by 2 hours. The previous timing of restriction was 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. that has been changed to the timing from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m for the recent shutdown.
Pilots can learn about travel restrictions on flying to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico, or Central and South America at the country’s official website.
CDC told the requirements for all travellers from international locations, whether vaccinated or not that person should have the negative tested report of COVI-19 test that should be within the three days before boarding the flight or they should have the documents of COVID-19 recovery that should be within three months before the timing to board a flight.
The Caribbean Disease Control and prevention also provided recommendations on its website for fully vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals to be followed when travelling internationally and upon return.
By this, the Bahamas is making it easier for international travellers from different spheres of the world to travel the rich and varied culture of the Bahamas.
The revenue will help the Caribbean community for further assistance in the specific countries to fight against the COVID-19 cases that are continuously taking up the lives of the Caribbean people.
The Bahamas is not alone in waiving pre-travel reports for vaccinated travellers. The Caribbean fellow countries have also waived the restrictions for vaccinated travellers; the grenadines and the British virgin islands are also on the list.
