Bahamas resumes indoor dining for fully vaccinated

Bahamas: Previously, in the month of May, restaurants on the island were not offering indoor dining, but now they have started the facility of indoor dining for the persons who have been fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus. This is instructed in the Emergency Powers Order 2021 those are recently released.

A person should carry documentary proofs with them that they have been vaccinated. After this, the hotel staff and the patrons should follow the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the government of the country.

According to the release, the person who has fully vaccinated will be further not required to take the RT PCR test of COVID-19 to travel from New Providence and Grand Bahama, and the person will not be compelled to take the secondary testing on day five on travelling inside the island from New Providence or Grand Bahama.

The citizens and the travellers that have been fully vaccinated are not required for an RT PCR test for COVID-19 on the entrance of the Bahamas. The person who is said to be fully vaccinated should have got both the vaccine doses for COVID-19, and he should have gone through the complete vaccination two weeks before entering the Bahamas. Travel Health Visa is a must for travellers who have been fully vaccinated. The visa fees for the person who has got both vaccine doses and is now fully vaccinated will be reduced for the citizens and residents.

Domestic travel visa fees for the travellers that are fully vaccinated will be exempted, but international travel health visas for fully vaccinated citizens and residents are $10

The person who will be caught with the false reports of vaccination will be fined with an amount of $10,000 or 2 years imprisonment, or both will depend on the circumstances. Abaco, Eleuthera and Exuma the Curfew were lifted on these islands for the families.
