Bahamas Air rescheduled its services to Jamaica from July 25 to Nov 17
Bahamas Air announced the postponement of the inaugural scheduled flights from Nassau into Montego Bay, Jamaica. These flights were originally scheduled to operate from 25th July 2024 to 8th September 2024.

Bahamas: Bahamas Air announced the postponement of the inaugural scheduled flights from Nassau into Montego Bay, Jamaica. These flights were originally scheduled to operate from 25th July 2024 to 8th September 2024.
The reason behind the postponement of the flight services has not been revealed yet by the authorities. However, they expressed excitement on announcing the revised date for the launch of the inaugural flight services. Bahamas Air stated that they are pleased to announce that they will commence their services on 17th November 2024.
Bahamas Air will offer twice-weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays with a vision to enhance their connectivity between Nassau and Montego Bay. The airline also promised to offer all their passengers with exceptional offerings in order to make their visit memorable and comfortable.
While shedding light on this route between Nassau and Montego Bay, the Director of Aviation, Dr. Kenneth Romer, noted that it is a popular destination and was selected through a voting process by the consumers of Bahamas-based airline Bahamas Air. He also asserted that Montego Bay secured 85% of the consumer votes which is huge in numbers.
He also mentioned that the newly introduced route will play a huge role in strengthening the friendly and regional connections between both the countries. It will give an opportunity to the travellers traversing between both these countries to explore the vibrant culture and traditions of the nation.
The aviation team apologized the customers for the inconvenience caused due to the postponement of the flight services. He stated that the passengers will have to visit the site to know about the rescheduling of the flight services. The Director Romer also added that Bahamas Air which is known for its warm hospitality and diverse offerings will soon commence its services and is ready to elevate the experience of all their visitors.
They also extended gratitude to all the passengers and stakeholders for their cooperation and stated that they are looking forward to welcome large number of passengers onboard their new service in November.
