Atlanta Caribbean Carnival returns to celebrate Caribbean’s culture and tradition
The 37th edition of the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival is all set to return and has been scheduled to take place from 24th to 27th May 2024. The Carnival promises to offer all its attendees with a memorable day filled with fun activities as it celebrates the vibrant culture and traditions of the Caribbean.

The 37th edition of the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival is all set to return and has been scheduled to take place from 24th to 27th May 2024. The Carnival promises to offer all its attendees with a memorable day filled with fun activities as it celebrates the vibrant culture and traditions of the Caribbean.
The two hotels that have been selected to host the carnival are the Westin Hotel Peachtree Plaza and the Courtyard Marriott Atlanta Downtown.
The Atlanta Caribbean Carnival Bandleaders Association, the organizers of the event shared their vision of reflecting, commemorating and promoting the Caribbean culture and traditions among everyone.
While shedding light on the theme of this year’s carnival “One Caribbean Carnival.” The organizers shared their motto of bringing various artists, communities and enthusiasts from the Caribbean diaspora to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the island nations.

The artists who will grace the stage with their electrifying performances, include, Mical Teja, Trinidad’s 2024 Road March Champion; Problem Child of St Vincent and the Grenadines; Lil Rick and DJ Cheem of Barbados; Burning Flames and Tian Winter of Antigua; Kiprich USVI’s Pumpa of Jamaica; Motto and Teddyson John of Saint Lucia; Asa Banton of Dominica and many more.
All these artists have expressed their excitement about performing for the Caribbean crowd and showcasing soca beats and many other beautiful melodies to win over the hearts of audiences.

11th May, 2024: Children’s Carnival
24th May 2024: the ACCBA J’ouvert as a night-time affair
25th May, 2024: Caribbean Carnival street parade
26th May, 2024: fete

These events will play a pivotal role in displaying the colourful costumes, artists, rhythms and all other elements that define the rich cultural heritage of the Caribbean. Along with that, it will also offer all the visitors with local and delicious Caribbean cuisines.
Such festivals are a great way of celebrating diversity and promoting inclusivity. It is also a great platform for taking international travellers through the historical journey of the country.
The community residents also flooded social media with comments and desires to attend the event.
