The people there used to wave a frying pan in the air by coating the bottom of the pan with dead mosquitoes. It is to be noted that this abundance of mosquitoes causes great distress to the local residents.

Further to this, in the long-term battle against mosquitoes, they invented these mosquito burgers. Due to the lack of protein in the daily diet of the local residents and considering that mosquitoes are rich in protein.

Moreover, they capture a large number of mosquitoes and then press them into the shape of a burger. Afterwards, the mosquito burgers are fried in a pan looking black and unappealing. Once the mosquito burgers are ready, men start to enjoy this “delicacy” with their children.

Currently, this video is spreading all over social media platforms and many people share their views by commenting on the video.

One such comment by a person named le_peteur_des_montagnes stated, “That shit better be cooked well done because otherwise you might be eating malaria.” Mentioning above comment, a person by a name Knigthpage replied, “Since they are around vegetation most of them should b male and male mosquitoes don’t bite or sting. They eat plants, the female need blood to produce eggs.”

While reacting to the video, another person named Maribittans disclosed the same culture that prevailed in Brazil by commenting, “Here in Brazil, we used to do something similar. In some parts here, people would eat fried giant ants with cassava powder. Most people don’t do this anymore. My grandma used to do it.

At the same time, some people reacted to this practice by raising their concerns. One of the comments reads as follows, “is it possible for malaria to not be transmitted through those burgers? Im general are they safe?”
