A 48-year-old man of Jamaica was killed after being hit by a piece of steel pipe on the head. The killer is the victim’s own brother who raised his hand on the deceased following the altercation between them.

St Ann, Jamaica: A 48-year-old man was killed after being hit by a piece of steel pipe on the head. The killer is the victim’s own brother, who is currently in custody. He raised his hand on the deceased following the altercation between them.
The victim has been identified as 48-year-old Lenbert Allen who is a farmer of Cascade in the parish. As per the reports, the incident took place on Friday in Cave Valley, St Ann.
According to the details, Allen and his brother got into a heated dispute. Subsequently, the brother of the victim took a piece of steel pipe and hit that on the head of Lenbert Allen.
After, the incident, police officers were called and they responded immediately to the matter by reaching the crime spot and taking Lenbert Allen to the hospital. Upon reaching the hospital, the doctors on duty examined the victim thoroughly and pronounced him dead.
Therefore, the brother of the deceased has been taken into custody following the offence he committed.
Several residents of the community took to their official social media accounts and expressed their views on the incident and highlighted the crimes increasing in the nation.
One person with a Facebook handle Audley Phillip commented “This incident is indicative of a bigger problem that has been so prevalent in Jamaica amongst families. We kill each other over the simplest of things. No dialogue, no attempt at mediation or reconciliation, pure rage and violence. It is just very sad to read of these things so often.
Another person with a Facebook account Sandra Smith-Stewart commented the following “No resolution, just murders in every scene, sad world in the last days mankind are just lovers of themselves.”
The residents of Jamaica have raised their concern regarding increasing cases of crimes in Jamaica which has increased the threat among the international visitors. Therefore, the citizens have requested the administration to take their appeal strictly and implement stringent measures, ensuring the safety and security of the entire nation.
