Miss Dominica Adicia Burton expresses pleasure as Miss JCI Queen Show is about to start

Roseau, Dominica: The countdown has officially begun. It is now five days until the Miss JCI Queen Show 2023. On this occasion, Adicia Burton – Miss Dominica 2023 and Miss Kalinago 2022, expressed her pleasure and happiness.

She took an official social media account and mentioned that she has no doubt that this will be a show to remember as Dominicans celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of this prestigious pageant under the theme, “Celebrating 60 years of Vibrancy, Culture and Talent.”

“And of course, what a timely return of my homeland, the dynamic Nature Isle of the Caribbean, Dominica!” she further expressed through her post.

Burton additionally outlined that she was excited to see the representatives of her community (Kalinago) on stage and anticipated that it would be a successful event.

“I hope you are ready for this comeback, as this mighty Kalinago Warrior takes the stage once more to claim the throne for Dominica, 8:00 pm on the 31st of July, 2023, at the Antigua Recreations Ground. As I continue to champion my platform, Reparations for Indigenous People’s of the Caribbean with a focus on the Kalinago people,” she said in a social media post.

Additionally, she extended heartfelt thanks towards each and every person who supported her in this journey. She stated, “It has been an arduous journey, but success requires nothing short of hard work and commitment.”
