Minister Zulfikar Mustapha distributes toys to children in Region Six

Georgetown, Guyana: The Minister of Agriculture, Zulfikar Mustapha MP, distributed toys to the children at Ankerville, Miss Phoebe and Chesney in Region Six during the Christmas holidays.

It is to be noted that he gave presents to the children in order to spread the joy of Christmas. Notably, almost 4,000 children from regions five and six received toys at the weekend as the Government Ministers fan out across the country to put smiles on the faces of the children.

Minister Mustapha took to his official social media handle (Facebook) to extend the Christmas greetings to the people and their families of the Federation.

“Season’s Greetings to you and your family. May peace, love, and prosperity follow you always”, the minister of agriculture shared.

Reacting to his post, many people exchanged their wishes and greetings by commenting on it.

One such comment by a person named Charles Burn wrote, “Merry Christmas to you and your family. May the Grace of God reside in your home today and always.”

Another person named Debra Sooklall commented, “Merry Christmas to you and your family, Minister God’s blessings always.”

Further on, the ‘Christmas Spirit’ is very much in the air in Region Six at East Berbice Corentyne, as many people are seen shopping for food and other items.

The shoppers expressed their excitement and joy as they got prepared for the Christmas Holidays. Moreover, the Musical Beat House in Canje is the centre of attraction in Region Six this Christmas.

Apart from him, Guyana President Mohamed Irfaan Ali also greets people on the occasion of Christmas 2023.

He stated, “On behalf of the Forest family, I extend heartfelt greetings for a joyous, holy and peaceful Christmas to all Guyanese at home and abroad. I want to especially remember, at this time, our loyal and brave men and women in uniform, including those who are patrolling our borders and our waters. And who is enabled at this time because of the call of duty to be at home with families, I thank them and all others for the sacrifices that they are making in the cause of peace.”
