St George’s, Grenada: Philip Telesford, Member of Parliament and Minister for Social, Community Development, Housing and Gender Affairs, announced the opening of PharmaCon Ltd.
Through his official social media account, he mentioned, “In my capacity as Acting Prime Minister and Parliamentary Representative for St. George South East, I was delighted to join in celebrating the grand opening of PharmaCon Ltd, a new supermarket, a venture brought to life by a remarkable team of entrepreneurs.”
As per the update, the formal launch, blessing, and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday, 27th August, was an occasion that showcased remarkable initiative and highlighted the potential within the business professionals with a drive for positive change and economic development.
He further claimed that he extended his heartfelt commendations to these enterprising individuals who have worked tirelessly to turn their vision into reality. This supermarket stands not only as a place to purchase goods but also as a testament to the power of innovation, determination, and collaborative effort.
In my remarks, I highlighted that “Small businesses like these are extremely important for the development of Grenada. I want to encourage you and encourage others to get involved in small business, to dream big, think big, and not ever stop at the obstacles that confront you. In business, there are going to be obstacles; keep praying, keep pushing, do not ever quit, do not ever stop. Always think about new ideas and initiatives and what can make them happen for you and your business”.
To the founders of PharmaCon, he offers heartfelt congratulations, noting, “Your unwavering dedication to this project is inspiring to all of us.”
Minister Telesford also mentioned, “PharmaCon, located in Calivigny St George’s, currently employs 15 staff members, and this number is expected to grow in the upcoming weeks with increased operations and the addition of a full pharmacy and dispensary.
