Mein Schiff 2 opens St Vincent and the Grenadines cruise season 2024-25, brings thousands of passengers
St Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority hosted a press cocktail on November, 5th, 2024, to officially launch the cruise season 2024-2025.

The German ship Mein Schiff 2 kicked off the cruise season 2024-2025 in St Vincent and the Grenadines. The vessel brought thousands of passengers to the shores of the country by marking its inaugural call at Port Kingstown on Wednesday, 6th November, 2024.
The passengers aboard the first vessel of the Cruise Season 2024-2025 were warmly welcomed by the tourism authority of St Vincent and the Grenadines. The Miss SVG 2024 Zada Stephens, as well as the representatives from SVG Port Authority also extended a warm welcome to all the passengers.
The arrival of the first vessel of the cruise season 2024-2025 of St Vincent and the Grenadines, Mein Schiff 2 was celebrated with exceptional cultural display. The tourism and port authority showcased the vibrant culture and traditions of the island nation.
The authorities stated that they are committed to foster the rich cultural heritage of the island nation and position St Vincent and the Grenadines, as a prime tourism destination for all the travellers.
Moreover, the Ministry of Tourism of St Vincent and the Grenadines also expressed his desire of bringing thousands of passengers to the island nation. He stated that they are all anticipating a busy cruise season with the lineup of inaugural visits and the arrival of several cruise calls to the shores of the country.
The Tourism authority added that this busy cruise season will play a huge role in advancing the tourism sector of the country. He stated that they have high hopes from the 2024-2025 cruise season, aiming to break all the records set by their tourism authority in previous years.
Also, the St Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority hosted a press cocktail on November, 5th, 2024. This party was conducted to officially launch the cruise season 2024-2025. The CEO of SVGTA, Annette Mark and the CEO of SVG Port Authority, Carl James shed light on the importance of collaboration in order to enhance the overall experience of all the visitors travelling to the island nation.
CEO Mark also contributed EC$10,000 to the SVG Hotel and Tourism Association. This contribution shed light on the commitment of the authorities towards supporting the ongoing tourism initiatives of the country.
The CEO added that they are making every possible effort to elevate the tourism sector to greater heights and open doors to several opportunities for the benefit of the country and its local citizens. Both, the tourism and port authorities of St Vincent and the Grenadines stated that they are committed to deliver the world-class services to all their visitors.
