Logos Hope set to dock in ports across Caribbean, host floating book fair

The world’s largest floating book fair and ministry on the seas, the Logos Hope is all set to return to the Caribbean from November 2024. This vessel is anticipated to attract large number of visitors, fostering a culture of learning and enriching lives with knowledge.
Logos Hope is a floating library and a beacon of hope, bringing knowledge, help, and inspiration to people worldwide. This floating book fair offers more than 5,000 different titles, providing visitors with the first ever opportunity to purchase quality literature.
It remains in each port for about two weeks and opens the gangways to thousands of visitors each day. And, making its return to the Caribbean region, the ship will make its visit to several Caribbean nations including Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Saint Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada.

- Scarborough, Tobago: December 10th to 26th, 2024
- Port of Spain, Trinidad: December 26th, 2024 to January 28th, 2025
- Bridgetown, Barbados: November 13th to December 9th, 2024
- Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia: January 29th to February 13th, 2025
- Castries, Saint Lucia: February 13th to 27th, 2025 (TBC)
- Kingstown, St Vincent and the Grenadines: February 27th to March 26th, 2025
- George’s, Grenada: March 26th to April 15th, 2025
With more than 400 crew members from more than 60 nations, the Logos Hope community is regarded as a genuine expression of international goodwill and understanding. All the crew members and staff of the vessel are non-salaried volunteers, serving in their professional capacities such as engineers, electricians, teachers, cooks and many more.
The main purpose of the Logos Hope is to serve people in the nearby communities of the port and show them love and share hope. While shedding light on the motive of the ship, its Director, Edward Davis asserted that they aim to bring hope to the people and prevent them from perishing.
The visitors of the Logos Hope will get an opportunity to enjoy watching people from many different cultures living, working and adjusting with each other. All the crew members of the vessel are unified by their common faith in Almighty and therefore they vision to bring knowledge and extend help to the communities of the port wherever they serve globally.
Therefore, the team members visit to the surrounding areas such as hospital, schools, orphanages of the port to supply aid and provide community care. This arrival of the ship would definitely play a huge role in enhancing knowledge and attracting large number of visitors, celebrating diverse culture.
