Jamaica’s officers arrest one in connection to farmer’s death
The authorities of Jamaica charged one man in connection to the incident that took place on Sunday, 18th February 2024. It is to be noted that the accused not only conducted robbery but also chopped the victim to death.

Trelawny, Jamaica: The authorities charged one man in connection to the incident that took place on Sunday, 18th February 2024. It is to be noted that the accused not only conducted robbery but also chopped the victim to death.
The victim has been identified as William Jenkins alias ‘Samson’, resident of Sherwood Content in Parish. The identity of the accused has not been revealed yet by the authorities but they are thoroughly investigating the matter to prevail justice for the deceased.
As per the details, the burglar attacked Jenkins with a machete and stabbed him several times, resulting in several wounds all over his body.
Upon receiving the news of the incident from the relatives, the officers of the Trelawny police Station responded to the matter immediately and found the blood-drenched body of the victim lying on his bed.
Following that, the victim was taken to the Falmouth Public General Hospital where he was examined by the doctors on duty and was pronounced dead. Subsequently, the accused was arrested for the offence of killing the farmer, William Jenkins.
The matter is being assigned to the Clark’s Town Police Station which has promised to investigate the matter properly and is also seeking the public’s help to ensure that the culprit gets punished for the offence he committed.
Various residents of the community also took to their social media accounts and expressed their views on the news.
One person with a Facebook account Juanita Brown commented “These killings are usually done by a person known to the victims…the killer is right there in that same area.”
“The nation is doing the things of the more and more every day narrow is the way that leads to heaven and brod is the way that leads to hell and destruction many are on that journey to hell worst is yet to come God gave up on many of us,” wrote Peter Allen.
Another person with a Facebook handle Mishell Bernard commented the following “Known persons to these elderly need to be checked out first, don’t go too far.”
Moreover, the residents of the community have requested the administration of the country to take stringent measures to curb the increasing crime rate of the country.
