Jamaica to get its first-ever Therapeutic Centre, announced PM Andrew Holness

Andrew Holness, the Prime Minister of Jamaica, is delighted to announce that the country will now have its own Therapeutic Centre from Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA).

Kingston, Jamaica: Andrew Holness, the Prime Minister of Jamaica, is delighted to announce that the country will now have its own Therapeutic Centre from Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA).

While making this announcement, PM Andrew Holness mentioned, “Jamaica now has its own Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) Therapeutic Centre, the first of its kind in the English-speaking Caribbean!”

“This milestone represents a significant step forward in our commitment to ensuring the well-being, protection and support of our nation’s most vulnerable children,” he added.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister expressed that this new milestone has been achieved because of the contribution and support of various partnerships.

“This opening would not have been possible without the generous support and partnership of the Basic Needs Trust Fund, administered by the Caribbean Development Bank and the Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF),” the social media post by the Prime Minister of Jamaica read.

This Therapeutic Centre will serve as a haven where healing, growth, and transformation can occur. It will provide a nurturing environment where these children can find solace, receive the necessary therapies, and build resilience in the face of adversity, as per the reports.

This has brought a sense of pleasure among the Jamaicans, and many of them have praised this construction. PM Andrew Holness was lauded for taking steps towards the development and upliftment of the country and its people.

People took the comment section of the social media post to express their views towards the developmental steps taken by the government of Jamaica. A user named Daphne McCreath stated, “Good work, sir.
