Castries, Saint Lucia: HelpAWS, an animal welfare organisation based in Saint Lucia, recently brought a little girl into the shelter. The volunteers welcomed the little girl and introduced her to the world.
The social media post by HelpAWS noted, “We brought a little girl who was found where our most recent pup Athos was found.”
They brought together two pups and mentioned, “We believe these two babies are siblings. We’re so hopeful that these two babies could be family and share the love and bond that only family can have.”
It added that it would definitely make the transition from where they both came from into the shelter life much easier, as they will have each other to count on.
As per the organisation, this beautiful little girl was brought to us earlier in the day, and although she was nervous, the volunteers were told that once she got comfortable, she would leave an imprint on the people and would never leave their side. In the short time, she was with the volunteer before she came to them, she was exposed to older dogs and cats and got along great with them both.
“We can’t wait to experience this girl’s charming side when she begins to trust us. But for now, we’re going to take care of her and her brother the best we can until these babies are able to find their forever homes,” it noted.
HelpAWS added that to the people who found Athos and now his possible sister, they are so grateful, and it was made possible that these little pups are going to thrive and be adopted by wonderful families and given the lives they so badly deserve.
While outlining donations and support, it stated, “And to our wonderful followers, if you would like to help donate towards the care of our new pup and help name her, then please consider donating visa Etransfer, PayPal or Zelle to donate@helpaws.com or Venmo to @helpaws.”
