                                                    Guyana: Dr Irfaan Ali has shared a schedule or calendar of events from the month of September to October on April 7, 2022 (Thursday).
As per the Calendar of Events shared by the Guyanese government, the event would be held from September 16, 2022 (Friday) to October 2, 2022 (Sunday).
September 16 – Welcome Vibes
September 17 – Guyana Night
September 18 – Pan, Jazz Art and Fashion Show
September 19 – City @ Nights
September 20 – Panorama, City @ Nights
September 21 – Warriors Game, City @ Nights
September 22 – Warriors Game, City @ Nights
September 23 – Chutney and duck curry, Regional Food Festival at (Main Street)
September 24 and September 25 – Warriors Game, City @ Nights, Regional Night, Regional Food Festival (Main Street)
September 26 – Welcome Vibes, Miss CPL Cricket Carnival Pageant
September 27 – CPL Semi-Finals, City @ Nights
September 28 – CPL Semi-Finals, City @ Nights
September 29 – City @ Nights, Regional Monarch
September 30 – CPL Final, Jouvert
October 1 – International Concert
October 2 – Road Parade
Earlier, the Government of Guyana announced that it would host the semi-finals and finals of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) for the next three (3) consecutive years.
President Dr Irfaan Ali made this announcement at the official launch of the Cricket Carnival as well as Caribbean Premier League 2022 on the evening of March 30. He, in the midst of applause, stated, “The finals and semi-finals of the game will be held in Guyana.”
The Cricket league has been organised between August 30, 2022, and September 30, 2022.
