Grenada invites women for YWiL Programme, aims at enhancing leadership
The Ministry of Youth & Sports of Grenada has invited the women of Grenada who are interested in leadership for the YWiL Programme. This will take place from May to July 2024.

Grenada: The Ministry of Youth & Sports of Grenada has invited the women of Grenada who are interested in leadership for the YWiL Programme. This will take place from May to July 2024.
The ministry has highlighted that the programme will provide the young women with knowledge, skills and networks. This will support their efforts to positively impact the communities and the countries.
Several of the positive aspects as the part of this programme are as follows:
- Training in transformational leadership, parliamentary procedure, and gender equality.
- Exchanges with peers, parliamentarians, and experts on women’s leadership and gender equality.
- Participation in a YWiL session in parliament.
- Development of a personal plan to apply new leadership and skills to the community.
YWiL (Young Women in Leadership) is a series of national-level initiatives that are to be implemented across the Caribbean especially to foster young women’s interest in public leadership. And, by organizing the skill-building workshops on transformational leadership, YWiL will extend great support and benefits.
This programme will support young women leaders that would surely give a positive change to the future of the nations. The Ministry of Youth and Sports is responsible for the implementation of the developmental programmes of youth and sports that support the policy direction of the Government of Grenada.
Their role for the betterment of the country says it all of their importance in the overall growth and development of the country. Such training sessions to be held in the country are a mark of the developmental state of the country, fostering women’s empowerment.
With time, the Caribbean nations are doing great, enhancing their goodwill among others. The efforts being taken by them are more of the examples set for the nations worldwide.
Considerably, the training in transformational leadership would not only contribute towards the country’s growth but would also make a difference in the personal growth of women.
