Grenada Downtown District announces hosting of 30 Nights of Lights, shares weekend schedule

Grenada: Grenada Downtown District announced that it would be hosting “30 Nights of Lights,” it has also shared the weekend schedule for the event. The weekend event will commence on Thursday, December 1, 2022, and will end on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

The shared schedule by the authority is as follows:

Thursday, December 1

• Santa’s mailbox will be opened for letters.

Friday, December 2

• The parade will start at 6 pm; the authority has not disclosed the route yet
• Tree lighting ceremony, after the completion of the parade

Saturday, December 3

• Small time hot dogs, the timing for the same will be 12 noon to 5 pm
• Petting zoo, timing: 12 noon to 5 pm
• Santa at the square market, timing starts from 1 pm to 5 pm
• Carriage rides from 2 pm to 5 pm
• Christmas crafts at Square market from 1 pm to 4 pm
• Storytime, from 3 pm to 4:30 pm

As per the announced schedule, the schedule for the Story Time event will be

3 pm to 3:30 pm – Rocking horse Christmas at Howell Law

3:30 pm to 4 pm – Legend of Pointsettia at Chic P Boutique

4 pm to 4:30 pm – Red and lulu at Robin Whitfield Studio
