GICA delivers clinker to Haiti and the Dominican Republic

Groupe des Ciments d’Algérie (GICA) exported and delivered 41,000t of clinker to the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
It is reported that the company exported the clinker, which was produced at the Hadjar Soud (SCHS) cement plant to both Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
The export was done from the port of Annaba.
Youcef Merabet, CEO of GICA said that Hadjar Soud cement plant, operates two production lines and has a production capacity of a total of 0.9Mt/yr, would promote its exports in 2021 as the demand for clinker would exceed 200,000t.
