French Footballer Claude Makélélé appointed technical advisor to SKNFA
St Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) has recently announced the appointment of Claude Makélélé Sinda as its Technical Advisor.

St Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) has recently announced the appointment of Claude Makélélé Sinda as its Technical Advisor. The announcement was made during a brief meeting with the French football legend and former professional player on Saturday.
Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, welcomed Claude Makélélé Sinda, the newly appointed SKNFA Technical Advisor.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of Sports Samal Duggins, President of St. Kitts Nevis Football Association (SKNFA)- Atiba Harris; First Vice President Shawn White, Second Vice President Cuthbert Caines; and other senior members.

Makélélé, who is renowned for his playing days as a defensive midfielder for top European clubs such as Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain, has now taken on a new role to assist with the development of football in St Kitts and Nevis.
The French Footballer is currently working as a youth coach and technical mentor at Chelsea Football Club, where he imparts his vast knowledge and experience to young players. He also served as the head coach of the Belgian First Division A club Eupen before accepting this new position with the St Kitts Nevis Football Association (SKNFA).

During the meeting, the SKNFA officials expressed excitement and gratitude for Makélélé’s acceptance of the role. The French legend also expressed his pleasure in assuming the position.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew stated that the SKNFA is thrilled to have someone of Makélélé’s calibre on board as a technical advisor. The PM said that his experience and expertise would be invaluable to the organization as they work to develop young talent and raise the level of football in the country. With his appointment, more youngsters are expected to take interest in sporting activities which will eventually sharpen their physical activity.
Notably, Makélélé’s appointment is also being viewed as an instrument that will help attract more attention and investment to the sport in the region.
