Dr Denzil Douglas congratulates Jemar Davis and Javio Felix for achieving success in Taiwan
Minister of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas extended congratulations to Jemar Davis and Javio Felix, nationals of the island nation in Taiwan on getting recognized for their outstanding academic excellence.

Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis: Minister of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas extended congratulations to Jemar Davis and Javio Felix, nationals of the island nation in Taiwan on getting recognized for their outstanding academic excellence.
While extending congratulations to the nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Denzil Douglas took to his official Facebook account and stated “Congratulations to two of our nationals in Taiwan: Jemar Davis and Javio Felix who were recognized at a ceremony organized by Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Taiwan Alumni Association.”
Notably, the Embassy of St. Kitts and Nevis in Taiwan attended the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Taiwan Alumni Association Outstanding Students Awards and the installation of the 20 Campus Ambassadors ceremony on 26th April 2024. The ceremony was conducted with a vision to acknowledge achievement, reward excellence and offer help to the students in need.
The award which was claimed by the nationals of the island nation
- Javio Felix, a student of Ming Chuan University was awarded the 2023 Outstanding Student Awardee.
- Jemar Davis, a student of Taipei City University of Science and Technology was awarded the 2024 Outstanding Student Awardee.
Along with that, they both were also appointed as Campus Ambassadors which showcases the unwavering commitment and dedication of both the nationals towards excellence.

Moreover, Minister Douglas also appreciated the students who were the featured guest performers at the occasion, Kevrone Phipps, Jahmarley Riley and Howard Liburd. They danced the masquerade and clown and set the stage on fire and had the audience dance on their feet.
The Minister also appreciated Taiwan for their continuous support to the nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis and for investing heavily in human resource development in the island nation by offering monetary scholarships to local students.
Minister Denzil Douglas also extended gratitude for their contribution to the education and the future success of the students of St. Kitts and Nevis. The delegations of Taiwan also stated that they will continue to support the island nation and aim to further deepen their relations.
