Dominica promotes youth football through Sports Division Secondary School Football Competition

The Sports Division Secondary School Football Competition matches were played in Dominica on Friday, 17th November 2023. The four matches were played in different categories.

The first match was played between Dominica State College and Goodwill Secondary School in the Under 20 category.

The result of the game is as follows: 

Dominica State College beat Goodwill Secondary School with the goal 10-1.

The players who scored goals for Dominica State College were,

– Fabio Drigo scored three goals and got a hat trick.

– Derwin Eusebe and Lyan Edwards scored two goals each for the team.

– Davonne George, Jahleel Daniel and Jean-Rick Joseph contributed to the team’s win by scoring one goal each.

The goal scorer from Goodwill Secondary School:

– D’Andre Peltier scored the lone goal for their team.

The second game was played between Division AcademiX School of Learning and

Portsmouth Secondary School in the Under 20 division.

The match was won by Division AcademiX School of Learning by four goals to 1.

The goal scorer from Division AcademiX School were,

– Ricardo LeBlanc scored two goals for his team

– Yvesterson Exavier and Antawn Larocque contributed 1 goal each for their team.

The lone player who scored a goal for Porstmouth Secondary School:

– Marlick Daniel

Isaiah Thomas Secondary School competed against North East Comprehensive School In two different categories.

The first match was played in the Under 15 division. The result of the match came out as a draw.

Kenelm Gustave scored for Isaiah Thomas Secondary School, while the goal scorer from North East Comprehensive School was Neron Abraham.

In the Under 20 division of the match played between Isaiah Thomas Secondary School and North East Comprehensive Secondary School. The game was won by Isaiah Thomas Secondary School by five goals to 2.

– Phillip Mathew

– Benedict Peter

– Terkwante Secondary

– Evenslo Estevens

They all contributed towards their team’s victory by scoring one goal each for their team.

They, too scored one goal each for their team.
