Dominica: The most-awaited Dominica’s Jazz ‘n Creole would return to the Caribbean island this May.
This year, it will be Femme 4! Some of Dominica‘s top-performing women artists will be coming together for Jazz ‘n Creole 2022. The performers will be Shalina, Starsha, Marsha and Tasha.
Other artists to be featured in the Jazz ‘n Creole 2022 would be JSJ, which is a featured artist group for Dominica, reaching the country straight out of Guadeloupe.
JSJ stands for Jean-Michel, the pianist, Stephane, the bassist, and Jerôme, the drummer. This trio is made of three great musicians, discovering their colourful, creative universe. Passionate about rhythms that make our hearts beat, they want to share and bring their amazing West Indian music to the world with original creations.
Another artist featured in Dominica’s Jazz ‘n Creole 2022 will be Teddyson John. He will be coming straight from St Lucia.
The artist was born in Castries, St Lucia; John started his musical journey at a young age. He was nurtured in the church. In the year 2007, he made a move from Gospel and R & B to Soca, taking his career to another bar. This move earned him the Groovy Soca Monarch title in 2015, putting him on an international map that made him become a household name, locally, regionally as well as internationally.
