Cricket West Indies unveiled the points table for the West Indies Championship 2024. It is to be noted that two rounds of the championship have already been conducted and the teams are now looking forward to the next round.
Windward Volcanoes is currently sitting in the first position with 42.4 points. The team has played 2 matches till now and has won both games by a very good margin. The team defeated Jamaica in one match and Barbados in the other game.
Leeward Island Hurricanes secured the second spot at the end of round 2 with 25.8 points. The team has played two games, one was played against West Indies Academy and the other against Guyana Harpy Eagles. Leeward Island Hurricanes has won only 1 game and they won by a huge margin of 273 runs against Guyana Harpy Eagles.
The third place has been secured by Jamaica Scorpions, scoring 24.4 points. The team has also played two games, they have won 1 and lost 1. Jamaica Scorpions defeated Combined Campuses and Colleges by 10 wickets and won their last game, emerging a third spot in the points table.
Trinidad and Tobago Red Force is sitting in the fourth position with 23.2 points. The team has played 2 games as of now and has won 1 and lost 1 game.
The rankings are followed by Barbados Pride and West Indies Academy which are sitting at the 5th and 6th positions respectively. Both the teams have played two matches and have won 1 and lost 1 game.
