Celebrity Summit marks its second visit to Antigua and Barbuda for cruise season 2024-25

The Celebrity Summit marked its second visit of the cruise season 2024-25 to the shores of Antigua and Barbuda at Heritage Quay after its visit last week. The vessel brought more than 2000 passengers to the island nation, bringing a vibrant atmosphere to the port and offering travellers with an unforgettable experience.
The arrival of the Summit brought Heritage Quay to life with the vibrant energy of the passengers boarded from the cruise. The visitors accumulated in large numbers, dancing to the vibrant rhythms of steel pan music, showcasing the true spirit of Antigua and Barbuda.
While shedding light on the arrival of the cruise to the shores of the island nation, the authorities noted that they are looking forward to welcome more vessels which will bring thousands of the passengers to the country.
They noted that they are excited to showcase the best of Antigua and Barbuda’s hospitality, culture, and shopping experiences to all the passengers and can’t wait for the visitors to explore all the treasures that are awaiting them at the shopping complex of Heritage Quay.
Moreover, Celebrity Summit was the vessel who kicked off the cruise season 2024-25 in Antigua and Barbuda on 8th October, 2024, becoming the first ship of the Celebrity Cruises line to dock for the season.
Following that, the Antigua Cruise Port welcomed Rhapsody of the Seas and invited both passengers and crew members to explore the rich cultural heritage of the nation.
The Antigua Cruise Port will also welcome the arrival of the vessels including Sapphire Princess, Regal Princess and P&O’s Britannia in the month of October 2024, bringing thousands of passengers to the island nation.
The management of the port ensured to showcase the beauty and warmth of the island nation to all the visitors while creating experiences that bring people together.
As per the details, this year, Antigua and Barbuda will see the arrival of 23 luxury cruise ship calls, aiming to bring around 5,039 cruise passengers to explore the breathtaking destinations of the country for the upcoming winter cruise season.
Therefore, the Government of Antigua and Barbuda has made several investments in order to garner larger amount of attention from the visitors and providing them an experience filled with beautiful memories.
