Barbados Immunisation Unit shares update on vaccination schedule for April 11 to April 14

Barbados: The percentage of the fully vaccinated eligible population has reached 66.3 percent in Barbados, to keep up with the vaccination pace, the Immunisation Unit shares the weekly schedule of vaccination in the country.

As per the schedule shared by the unit for the upcoming week (from April 11 to April 17), several vaccination sites and polyclinics will administer the vaccine against COVID-19 infection.

For this week, vaccines would be given only for four days, from April 11 to April 14, and the unit has informed the general public that the centres and polyclinics would remain close for the rest three days – April 15 (Good Friday), April 16, and April 17 (Easter).

The venue and timing, updated by the unit, are as follows –

April 11 (Monday)

• Branford Taitt Polyclinic at Black Rock, between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm
• Glebe Polyclinic at the Glebe, between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm
• Eunice Gibson Polyclinic at Warrens, between 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm

April 12 (Tuesday)

• Branford Taitt Polyclinic at Black Rock between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm
• Harbour Industrial Park (Building No 2), between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm
• Winston Scott Polyclinic at Jemmotts Lane, between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm
• Glebe Polyclinic at the Glebe, between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm
• Edgar Cochrane Polyclinic at Wildey, between 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm
• Eunice Gibson Polyclinic at Warrens, between 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm

April 13 (Wednesday)

• St Philip Polyclinic at Six Roads, between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm

The COVID-19 vaccines administered in Barbados are – Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Sinopharm. The vaccine doses can be administered at the polyclinics and centres at the scheduled times only.
