Barbados: The devastating effects of Hurricane Beryl led to cause severe destructions at the Grantley Adams International airport of Barbados. As per the reports, island nation is still under a Hurricane warning and has asked all its citizens to remain cautious in order to avoid any other major problem.

As Hurricane Beryl is upgrading to Category 4, the Barbados airport has been shut down and has canceled all flight operations with a motive to prioritize the safety and security of all the passengers.

Also, the National Hurricane Centre has asked all their citizens to follow precautionary measures and has been urged to stay indoors and be prepared for any kind of unforeseen situations which may arise.

The Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley also stated that Hurricane can be damaging and it requires to handle this situation sensitively. She noted that she is happy that she is receiving huge amount of support from the fellow Caribbean countries and Latin America. However, she noted that despite all those supports, it is still every person’s duty to be vigilant and protect themselves from the harsh effects of natural calamity.
