Antigua: Tourism Ministry calls for food vendor booths
The ministry of tourism, civil aviation, transportation and investment calls for food vendors for the 2024 SIDS (Small Island Developing states) Conference which is to be held in the region in the first half of this year.

Antigua and Barbuda: The Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, transportation and Investment calls for food vendors for the 2024 SIDS (Small Island Developing States) Conference, which is to be held in the region in the first half of this year.
The ministry has announced the opening for the applications of food vendor booths which will give an opportunity to the local vendors to showcase their products and items.
Importantly, the conference has been scheduled to be held at AUA Conference Center, St John’s, Antigua, from May 27 to 30, 2024.
“Vendor space is limited, and all applications must undergo a UN approved certification process,” mentioned the ministry of tourism.
By quoting the above mentioned statement, the ministry made it clear to the vendors that all the vendors should register themselves as early as possible as the space is limited and on top of that the applications have to undergo a selection process as well.
Moreover, the ministry also shared information about the availability of the applications as the venue is decided for it. Not only the venue but also days and timings are stated as a smoother run. One can get an application form from the Ministry of Tourism on Queen Elizabeth Highway every day from Monday to Friday.
The forms will be available from 9 am to 2 pm on these business days. Also, there is another mention of collecting an application form, as in case, due to any urgency, one can not go to collect the form physically, he or she can download it from the official website of the ministry that is, www.visitantiguabarbuda.com
Significantly, the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States will offer a platform to the ones participating to take a step towards resilient prosperity, which is going to benefit the region.
As the conference aims at fulfilling sustainable development goals, it will provide the major solutions for the development of small island nations by addressing the issues connected to it.
