Antigua and Barbuda: Prime Minister Gaston Browne engaged in a lengthy discussion with the directors as well as members of the Black Boyz Foundation Inc.,

Antigua and Barbuda: Prime Minister Gaston Browne engaged in a lengthy discussion with the directors as well as members of the Black Boyz Foundation Inc., a non-profitable organization, with the sole purpose of uplifting those who are in need on Friday, 26 August 2022. During the courtesy visit, PM Browne indicated that he was aware of their volunteerism through social media and commended them for their social impact.
The four young men and PM Browne spoke at length about several issues, plans, and programs ranging from rehabilitation, youth involvement, youth leadership, and partnership with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.
Prime Minister Browne also donated to their foundation and made a donation of school supplies towards their back-to-school drive.
The four young men, who are all under the age of 25, banded together earlier this month when they provided free haircuts and breakfast to less fortunate males living on the streets of St. John’s.

The mission of the Black Boyz Foundation Inc. is to uplift all Antiguans and Barbadians who are in need.
The organisation works to –
1. Identify needs within communities in Antigua and Barbuda and implement programmes and campaigns to address those needs.
2. Coordinate with community leaders and members of the communities in Antigua and Barbuda to enhance the community they live in and build strong community ties.
3. Enable individuals to identify the needs of their communities and to assist them in developing and implementing programmes to address those needs in the Caribbean Region.
4. Provide support to underprivileged individuals.
5. Provide support to individuals experiencing homelessness.
6. Implement rehabilitation programmes to assist individuals experiencing homelessness.
7. Provide support and professional assistance to individuals experiencing unemployment.
8. Provide after-school educational support and implement after-school programmes to assist with personal and professional development.
