Antigua and Barbuda: PM Browne has shared information about Crabbs water plant. He informed that membranes of water plants had been reached in Caribbean.

Antigua and Barbuda: Prime Minister Gaston Browne has shared information about the Crabbs water plant.
He informed that the membranes of the water plants had been reached in the Caribbean country. He further said that a million gallons of water would be added because of them on a daily basis.
While sharing the details, Prime Minister mentioned, “Membranes for the Crabbs water plant have finally arrived. Approximately an additional million gallons of water daily will be added.”
He also updated that Barnacle Point will provide more membranes by the end of the month, which would expectedly add 700K gallons of water per day.
Furthermore, he stated about other plants which will add gallons of water. He stated that Fort James RO Plant is advancing nicely; the plant should be installed by the end of June, providing an additional 500K gallons daily. The plant capacity is to be increased by a further 500K gallons daily by this August.
The Bethesda RO plant will be installed by the end of September or October. The plant will add further 3M gallons daily.
He further notified that re-piping to commence in two weeks in Point, Villa, Ovals, and surrounding communities.
PM Browne said, “This administration is working relentlessly to achieve water sustainability during the worst decade of drought in the history of our country, which has eliminated all of our surface and groundwater sources.”
