Antigua and Barbuda: Executive of United Taxi Association praises tourism Minister Charles Fernandez

Antigua and Barbuda: The Executive of the United Taxi Association has lauded the country’s tourism Minister Charles Fernandez for the outstanding work done in support of the organization during his tenure.

The announcement was made during a recent visit to the Ministry to update tourism officials on developments relating to the organization. Henley Daniel, a member of the executive body, said that in his 30 years as a service ambassador, Minister Fernandez and his team have been the most accommodating to progressive discussions relating to the management of transportation operations at the airport.

“We are really satisfied that we can meet with Minister Fernandez and his team at any given time to discuss the way forward for this tourism industry. I have sat with many tourism ministers over the past 30 years in my profession, and I am telling you he is the best, and he has a great team working with him”, Daniel stated.

In response, Minister Fernandez said that such recognition is extremely valued not in his personal capacity as Minister of Tourism but for the hard work and dedication applied by his team at the Ministry.

“It is absolutely important that we listen to the concerns of all tourism stakeholders and represent them where it matters”, Minister Fernandez stated.
