The mother of four boys, Annieka Lisa Francis crowned Mrs Universe Jamaica at the AC Hotel in a profound celebration of empowerment and womanhood. With this, she has also earned an opportunity to represent Jamaica at the global Mrs Universe competition which has been scheduled to take place in South Korea in October.

She was followed by Youlanda Gordon and Tamara Morgan as the first and second runners-up of the pageant respectively.

Mrs Universe Jamaica is a great opportunity for all the married women and mothers to showcase their beauty, charm and elegance and a mark a significant impact in the world of pageantry.

While shedding light on the event, the founder of Mrs Universe Jamaica and the first ever Mrs Universe Jamaica, Shannon Green stated that they are committed to empowering women and providing them a platform to realise their potential, focussing on their inner beauty and personal growth.

She shared her reason for starting the pageant and stated that it was back in 2021 when she went to South Korea to compete as the first Mrs Universe Jamaica. She shared that she was the only Caribbean or African woman representing her country. Therefore, she started the pageant, aiming to give more women from these regions the opportunity to showcase their culture and talents on an international stage.

Each contestant participated in the pageant showcased their choice of fashion from the bold and elegant designs but Annieka Lisa Francis outshined everyone with her charm and elegance. Along with the title, Francis took home the titles of Best Evening Gown and Best Active wear as well.

Meanwhile, other contestants were also awarded with tags such as Kaydia McKoy, clinching three titles including, Best Interview, Best in Fashion Wear and Most Congenial. Shanneil Brown-Bleary was also given three titles, namely, Most Photogenic, crowd favourite and People’s Choice Award.

Annieka Lisa Francis has also earned an opportunity to represent Jamaica at the global Mrs Universe competition which has been scheduled to take place in South Korea in October.

Following her remarkable victory, Francis extended gratitude to God and stated that it was very challenging for her as she almost lost her confidence. However, she challenged herself to push forward and make all possible efforts to achieve her goal despite the obstacles. She added though the journey was difficult but worth the result.

She continued to say that this journey has boosted her confidence to represent her nation on the world stage.

Moreover, Mrs Jamaica Universe also recognized Kaydia McKoy as Mrs Cosmo Jamaica and Shanneil Brown-Bleary as Mrs Intercontinental Jamaica. Both contestants were rewarded with an all-expense-paid trip to represent Jamaica at the Mediterranean on the Sea and Costa Rica, respectively. The sponsors also gave them ambassadorship titles.
